Anti-Genocide Alliance

The Anti-Genocide Alliance is an inter-religious coalition dedicated to mobilizing faith communities in the struggle to prevent and stop genocide.  Founded on 9 November 2007 in New York City as The Alliance to Abolish Genocide, it includes denominational authorities, churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, wats, and other religious institutions in the USA and around the world.  It is founded on the fact that all world religions affirm the unity of the human race.  Although religion has far too often been a cause of divisions between peoples, it can also be a powerful force for transcending ethnic, national, and racial barriers.  All members of religious faiths are welcome to join.  The headquarters of the Anti-Genocide Alliance (Alliance to Abolish Genocide) is at the National Council of Churches, 475 Riverside Drive, New York, NY.  E-mail: abolishgenocide@aol.com and abolishgenocide@gmail.com.
